Welfare Schemes Undertaen by Assam Tea Employees Welfare Board Ganeshguri Chariali, Guwahati - 781006.
- 2 (Two) permanent rest houses for Tea Garden Patients attached to Silchar Medical College and Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh at nominal charges.
- 10 (Ten) months residential training for Female Plantation workers at Mezenga Female Labour Welfare Training Centre in health-hygiene, family welfare care of children including crèche attendance, industrial relation and Vocational subjects like weaving tailoring and knitting & embroidery with stipend at the rate of Rs. 500/- per month, along with free accommodation.
- 18 (Eighteen) Community Centres for Plantation Labour scattered all over the State of Assam with comprehensive schemes for socio-cultural and socio-economic upliftment of the Plantation workers where carpentry, Cutting and tailoring, knitting and embroidery and weaving trades are imparted to trainees belonging to mostly tea tribe Community with free raw materials for training.
- Hostels (Free accommodation) for tea garden college students (Boys) at Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Tezpur, Noth-Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Silchar, Biswanath Chariali, Guwahati, Tinsukia, Doom Dooma, Moriani, Shillong and girls' hostel at Tezpur, G.N.M. Nurse trainees hostel Dibrugarh and Doom Dooma.
- Seven Child Care cum Pre-primary Centres for tea garden kids at Dighulturrang, Powai, Tarajuli, Sessa, Joipur, Talap and Khomtai, Free educational kits and mid-day meals are provided to the kids in all these centres.
- Craftsmen Training in Electrician trade and Mason trade is given at Rowriah Labour Welfare Training Centre, under Craftsmen Training Scheme of Govt. of India. These trades are affiliated to National Council for Vocational Trades, Govt. of India. Trainees are provided free accommodation and stipend at the rate of Rs. 500/- P.M. One Library at Dibrugarh.

- The Board under the banner of Tea Sports Control Board of Assam shall provide financial assistance to young & promising sports persons belonging to Tea Tribe Community from this year.
